Northern Michigan Environmental Action Council's25th

"Bioneer and Far: A Chorus
of Connections"
This was a collaborative piece done
when I was the 2004 Visiting Artist for the Great Lakes Bioneers Conference.
Check these folks out if you don't
know about them!
I started with an old recycled chalk
board with an outline map of the continents, then set up a "studio'
with paint,chalk, markers, etc., and left instuctions to "make a connection"
to somewhere important outside of our watershed. This was the end product.
There are some photos on my blog from about ayear and a half ago of the
lovely process.
We've done open edition giclée
prints in two sizes.

"Our Inland Seas"
Giclée print. Limited edition
of 100, with two custom color remarques in each upper corner. This was the
working drawing for the mural that I painted on the south wall of the Inland
Seas Education Association in 2004/2005.
