These began as I recovered from open heart surgery. Primarily alcohol inks, with some pen & ink, and pencil. I’m calling the two collections of small drawings “The 5 X Sevens”. They were started with the ink substrate then added on to with ink pen, and some pencil. Ultimately I worked larger and moved to canvas. Titles: “Astral Dune Climb” (ink on paper 12” x 15”), “The Minor Fall, the Major Lift” (ink on canvas, 24” x 36”), “Aurora Headwaters” (ink on board, 24” x 24”), “Across the Harvest Field” (ink on canvas, 24” x 26”), “Salmo Nocturne in Blue” (ink on paper, 12” x 15”), “Porchlights” (ink on linen 36” x 28”)
